Focusing on a complete touchscreen product ordering and inventory check-in solution for hospitals to use when restocking and booking hospital inventory for surgery rooms.

This project was incredibly complicated requiring many individual reporting systems to become synchronized into a singular customized application that would be installed on tablets handed out to hospitals dealing with a particular type of spinal surgery. From inventory management, calendars for individual surgery rooms and surgeon availabilities, to being able to track individual items down to singular screws in the spinal kits, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reports on item usages and revenues, this app needed to do a lot of heavy lifting.

Utilizing in person workshops, interviews with subject matter experts and doctors performing the surgeries, content audits across multiple internal systems, and creating an seemingly ever growing list of user journeys, we managed to make everything happen within a fairly simple UI and even managed to include a barcode scanner to eliminate the need for manual entry on inventory intake and checkout.
